A new kid on the block
Having a ball...
It's been a while, but now's the right time and place for a new puppy.
We have missed Ollie's presence (he'll always be present in Arran) and he can never be replaced, but we have moved to a beautiful country location, south of Durham. Walks beckon from the house, along country lanes and former railways. All we needed was a canine companion with whom to share these delights.
An advertisement offering Hungarian Viszla-cross-Pointer puppies led us to Jean in a farm outside Sherburn. We visited and 14 (yes, fourteen) pups tumbled out of their bed to greet us. One snuggled up and promptly fell asleep in my arms. His mum, Maddie, put her paw through my arm as if to say, "Look after him". So Bruno chose his new home.
Six week later, he's chewing everything and sleeping for England. When he's awake, he's a Duracell Bunny, when he's asleep, he grunts and snores. Endless hours of entertainment, day and night!
What joy he has brought and will continue to bring.
Brown in colour, our shield and protector.
Bruno.
